Let’s heal our body and mind while trekking Untangodo.
Untangodo in the past got used for coal mining. However, after a decrease in the need for coal, the place slowly got abandoned with good usable roads being left behind.
Instead of letting this place decay, the Gangwon province decided to turn this deserted mountain into a perfectly functioning trekking trail of around 32km long at a height of 1100m above sea level.
We will trek 20km of this newly opened trail starting at Drong lake and ending at Time Capsule Park. This trial will offer you some amazing views in June as Spring arrives late in this mountain range. Flowers will be in full bloom during this trekking trip. You will be able to discover the different types of flowers native to this region while walking on the road through open fields and forests.
The ending point is at the Time Capsule Park. An open area with a view over the mountain range. Here you can choose to reminisce about this trip by writing yourself a letter or taking a photo in one of the photo booths which will afterward be stored. You can choose a time for this letter or photo to be sent out to you in the near future.
As a nice addition, we will supply you with a participation kit. And after completing the course a congratulation kit.
And do not worry if you are an inexperienced hiker. This trail is beginners level, with light ascendance. Everyone can easily complete this trail.

The price is only 69,000won and includes;

Cancellation Policy
We have to pay deposits for these trips with the different accommodations and activity places. If you cancel at the last minute, we are losing money as well. Therefore, we have put into place this cancellation policy. By paying for the trip you agree to this cancellation policy.
If you have paid and would like a refund we have a three week policy. This policy is as follows:
5 days before the trip: Full refund (120 hours from departure time)
3 days before the trip: 50% refund(72 hours from the departure time)
0% refund ( 72 hours or less from the departure time)
