Adventure Korea will take you on a memorable trip to one of the most visit-worthy destinations in South Korea: Namhae Island! You will experience unique and fun activities.
During this three-day trip, we will take you to go sea kayaking in Namhae ocean. Paddle from one port to the other where you can also take a cooling dip in the water before paddling back.
Snorkel gear will be provided so you can discover the various sea life through the goggles.
For our accommodation we will stay in a village where you’ll experience an authentic homestay in Hanok style houses owned by a Namhae local. The first thing you will see when you wake up is Namhae ocean and rice fields. This beautiful sight will be one to remember.
However, we will not only do water activities, nearby is a German village that we will visit. For those missing the western society, this will be as close as you can get to it here in Korea.
Korea is also known for its beautiful temples. We will add culture and history to this trip by hiking to the Boriam temple, one of the five most famous temples in South Korea and is mainly known for its impeccable view.
You will notice during these three days that this area has incredible views of greenery and oceans. So you will for sure enjoy your time here unwinding from your stressful work week while breathing in the fresh ocean air.
- We will go sea kayaking to a small island away from the village, where you can go swimming or snorkeling to observe the diverse marine life.
- We will have the local meals of Namhae made by the villagers
- You can go cliff diving in the ocean near the village
- Go handfishing at the shores of the pebble beach where you can use bait to catch small fish with your own hands without harming them.
- Learn about the traditions and culture that have persisted in the area from the local citizens, who are more than happy to share with you
- Lantern walking at night through the rice fields while bonding with fellow travelers
- Play traditional Korean relay games and have fun singing karaoke with your newly made friends
- Try some unique tasting makgeolli made from special local ingredients
- Drink and sing with your old and new friends on a karaoke machine that will be provided
- Experience some healing time while watching the sunrise from the village while smelling the fresh ocean air.
- Hike up Geumsan (금산), which is one of the most famous hiking courses because of its breathtaking scenery where you can see all the nearby islands and the ocean
- At the top of Geumsan you can visit the Boriam temple; one of the five most popular and holy sites in Korea
- Visit the nearby German village
What to Expect
Sea kayaking next to the beautiful cliffs on the way to the nearby island.
Sit and drink around the bonfire while singing with your new friends on the karaoke machine
Snorkeling to see the different kinds of marine life.
Go cliff diving into the ocean. If you aren’t that adventurous you can also go hand-fishing
Stay at a guest house where the local citizens open their homes to strangers who want to learn about their culture. Eat delicious food that has traditionally been made on Namhae Island
Go hiking up Geumsan where you can admire the view of the nearby islands and the ocean
Visit Boriam Temple at the top of Geumsan, one of the most holy sites in Korea
Experience the ease of bare hand fishing
Walk around the island at night with a lantern in hand while bonding with fellow travelers.
Rediscover Western culture by going to the German village nearby our stay.
Enjoy some home-cooked meals by locals of the village.
Learn and play Samul Nori, a genre of music originating from Korea.

2. The accommodation allows for 3-4 people per room and rooms have a TV, blankets, toilet and shower facilities, so you just need to bring your own toiletries and towel.
We have many different size rooms, so please let us know if you have more than 3 people in your group.
*if you want to use a 2-person room. It costs extra 60,000won per room for 2 nights
3. You can pay 100,000won now and pay the rest by the April 21 or pay the full amount in order to reserve your seat and the cancellation policy is as follows;
15 days before the trip: you will get a full refund.
15 days – 7 days before the trip: 50% refund
7 days before the trip: 0% refund
*How to Pay for Trips
1.You can use ATM machines or online banking to wire payments directly from your bank account to Adventure Korea’s account, NH(NongHyup) Bank account no: 317-0017-2500-41 under the name of (주)더에이케이트래블
2.Otherwise, you can visit any bank in Korea and have a teller wire the funds on your behalf.
3.You can pay via paypal to adventurekoreatrip@gmail.com
If you use paypal, 1 USD is the same as 1,000won.

There will be 3-4 people in each room. If you want to share a room with your friends, let us know all the people’s names in advance so that we can arrange it.

We can provide rooms separated by gender, and we can provide coed couple rooms
Cancellation Policy
We have to pay deposits for these trips with the different accommodations and activity places. If you cancel at the last minute, we are losing money as well. Therefore, we have put into place this cancellation policy. By paying for the trip you agree to this cancellation policy.
If you have paid and would like a refund we have a three week policy. This policy is as follows:
15 days before the trip: Full refund
15- 7 days before the trip: 50% refund
