From beach and river cleanups to microplastic investigations, guests are given the opportunity to help restore and protect Koreaโs coastlines and waterways. These activities not only improve the health of the local environment but also educate participants about the real-world impact of pollution and plastic waste. During our microplastic investigations, travelers help remove tiny, colorful plastic particles that often end up in rivers and oceans, where they are mistaken for food by fish and turtles. Itโs a simple but powerful way to protect Koreaโs wildlife and waterways.
We also offer volunteer opportunities that support local communities directly. On our farm trips, for example, groups can assist with planting, harvesting, and other seasonal tasks. We even visit salt farms in Korea and assist farmers while learning about the process. Itโs a meaningful way to connect with the land and learn about Koreaโs agricultural traditions, while supporting the livelihoods of small-scale farmers. Guests leave with a deeper appreciation for where food comes fromโand for the hard work that goes into producing it.
Other ESG experiences include forest and elephant conservation-focused tours, where participants can learn about natural ecosystems in Korea and elephants in Thailand and whatโs being done to protect them.
