1년에 평균 70일 정도 비행이 가능한 다른 활공장에 비해 단양은 활공장 전체가 높은 산으로 둘러싸인 특수한 지형으로 1년에 300일 정도로 언제든 비행할 수 있어 1년중 가장 많은 비행 일수로 세계 기네스북에도 등재될 예정이랍니다.
서울에서도 자동차로 2시간만에 도착할 정도로 접근성이 좋으며 패러글라이딩을 즐긴 후 고수동굴, 도담산봉, 석문, 만천하 스카이 워크 등 이름난 장소들도 둘러볼 수 있는 곳이죠.
대한민국 단양에는 현재 10개의 업체가 패러글라이딩을 진행하고 있는데요. 저는 20년 이상 비행 경력의 전문가들로 구성된 단양에서 제일 안전하고 유명한 회사를 선택했어요. 저와 함께 했던 비행 교관님은 영어도 가능하셔서 편안하고 즐겁게 패러글라이딩을 즐길 수 있었어요.

Compared to other paragliding sites that can fly about 70 days a year on average, Danyang is a special terrain surrounded by high mountains, so it can fly at any time around 300 days a year. The instructors say one day it will be listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most number of flight days per year.
It is also easy to travel from Seoul in just 2 hours by car, and after enjoying paragliding, you can also visit famous places such as Gosu Cave, Dodamsanbong, Seokmun, and Mancheonha Sky Walk.
In Danyang, Korea, there are currently 10 companies paragliding. I chose Danyang’s safest and most renowned company who’s instructors have over 20 years of flying experience. The company also provides flight instructors who speak English, so I was able to enjoy paragliding comfortably and safely.
