On the last Friday of November, Adventure Korea proudly organized a meaningful and fun-filled Team Bonding Day for OWWA Philippines in Korea, bringing staff and volunteers together for a refreshing break from their daily responsibilities. The program was thoughtfully designed to strengthen teamwork, promote wellness, and showcase some of Pocheon’s most charming attractions.
The day began at Herb Island in Pocheon, a picturesque theme park known for its Mediterranean-inspired scenery, aromatic herb gardens, and peaceful ambience. Participants enjoyed leisurely walks through the beautifully decorated pathways, soaking in the festive lights, vibrant botanical displays, and unique attractions scattered throughout the island. The relaxed environment helped everyone ease into the day, setting the tone for meaningful connection and shared experiences.
Adventure Korea facilitated a series of interactive team bonding activities that encouraged communication, teamwork, and fun. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air as participants took on challenges designed to build trust and strengthen unity within the group. These moments not only boosted morale but also helped deepen relationships among OWWA members and staff. Since Christmas is around the corner, we did a gift exchange event with the team and it was so heartwarming.
One of the highlights of the program was the Lavender Pillow Wellness Healing Session. Participants crafted their own lavender-scented pillows, an activity that combined creativity with relaxation. The soothing aroma of lavender offered a moment of calm, allowing everyone to unwind, de-stress, and focus on mindfulness. This wellness component added a meaningful dimension to the day, reminding participants of the importance of self-care amidst busy schedules.
The final stop of the outing was the famous Pocheon Art Valley, a cultural complex known for its stunning lake, dramatic rock formations, and open-air art installations. Participants rode the monorail up the hill, took in breathtaking views of the quarry lake, and visited various exhibition spaces. The mix of nature, art, and architecture offered an inspiring and memorable end to the day’s adventure.
The Team Bonding Day brought together fun, relaxation, and discovery – perfectly capturing the spirit of unity and well-being. Adventure Korea is honored to support OWWA Philippines in Korea and looks forward to creating more meaningful experiences in the future.
